Annual dues are:
$15/year for an individual,
$25 for a family.
Teachers and Staff at Frank Love $12/year.

Scholarships are available, and will be granted anonymously.
We recognize not everyone can afford the extra expense. The Frank Love PTA maintains a membership scholarship fund to pay the dues for those who would like to participate but are unable to afford it. Please consider donating a membership for your child's teacher or classmate's family.

Breaking the PTA Stereotypes!

Breaking the PTA stereotype one member at a time!

Over the next month, lets get to know some of our Frank Love PTA members that come from all walks of life. You might be surprised!

PTA is important to me and my family because it offers another avenue of conversation with our school-age kids. The upcoming events allow us to have discussions that help us talk more in-depth about their school experience and any difficulties they are having and how we can start to solve any issues.

The PTA also is a resource to talk to other parents and become involved in our school and community. Being a dad there is the on to become more involved than usual by joining the watchdog group (when school is in person!) This is a great opportunity to see and interact with your children in the school setting and to see 1st hand what they do each day and the hard work that the teachers and staff put forth to provide the best care and education possible.

Frank Love PTA WATCH Dogs

I am a full time working mom. I am on my second year as PTA Treasurer. I do not volunteer at most fundraising events but I am still welcomed and appreciated and I am still making a difference in the FLEPTA!

Since joining the PTA two years ago and attending evening meetings, I feel more informed as to what is happening in my children's school life. I carry a lot of the dreaded, Mom Guilt. It is a great feeling being a part of creating solutions that will not only help my children but the generations of students to come. Being a member of the FLEPTA is not an all or nothing commitment. You can be as involved as you want or can.

Joining the PTA is more than just volunteering your time and talents. The PTA is an organized group of parents, teachers, and staff members who want the best possible school experience for ALL of the students that attend Frank Love Elementary. Your annual membership supports our PTAs mission to create wonderful learning opportunities and experiences for our students.  You will truly not believe all the programs and behind the scenes activities the FLT PTA is involved in!

  • Your membership will allow you to see and hear what is happening in not only our FLE community but in NSD and Statewide. There is no better way to know what is happening in our community!
  • Membership gives you voice in discussions and a vote on PTA issues and events that are important to you and your family.
  • Use your voice to help guide the direction and allocate the recourses at the PTA's disposal.
  • Total FLE PTA memberships give our PTA a more votes at WSPTA Legislative Assembly.
  • Anyone in your immediate or extended family can join the PTA.
  • All Washington State PTA members also receive discounts at local and regional businesses. To learn more about these discounts, check out the benefits and discount codes page.

Our PTA is amazing! The first thing that comes to mind is that our PTA provides enrichment for our students. If I'm thinking of even just the past few years, they've done everything from cohosting Scholastic Book Fairs... Halloween Dances... Movie Nights… Art Walks... Talent Shows and School Plays! All those wonderful things that you hope your students will get to experience in school. They have been working tirelessly the past few years to advocate for our campus at a district level and to help spruce it up. The bottlecap signs, tulips, and more accessible playground equipment are all thanks to our PTA.

They make a positive impact for all our students and they are a real hoot.

Frank Love Kindergarten Teacher

When my kids were little I worked full time and both my kids were in childcare. When I thought about the school years ahead I had always hoped I would be able to drop them off and pick them up from school, but two working parents was our reality so I tried not to think about it too much.
The year before our oldest daughter started Kindergarten our situation drastically changed and I was able to be home with our girls. It was truly a miracle!!

I joined the PTA on the first day of school. I knew I wanted to be involved. I was given this blessing and wanted to make the most of it! I quickly become in charge of membership with the PTA and volunteered in the classroom. I had no idea how much the PTA does within the school.

I’m happy to be a part of the PTA. I’ve met some great friends and I get to be involved with my kids education. That is a WIN WIN for me.
