AUDITIONS

April 29th, 2024, from 3:50pm to 5:50pm at Frank Love Gymnasium

These are closed auditions. Pick up is at 5:50pm. There is no guarantee that everyone who auditions will be cast in the play. Please support the students and let them know that they might be a better fit another year. Some students that receive a part in the paly will need to stay after auditions for rehearsals. This will be communicated at the end of auditions.

Wednesday May 1st: 2:20pm to 6:35pm
Thursday May 2nd: 3:50pm to 8:05pm

PERFORMANCES

This is an inclusive event and there are roles for ALL Frank Love Students from 1st grade through 5th grade. The Missoula Children's Theatre and our Frank Love Community have made sure the shows are flexible and accommodating for all students. There are approximately 50-60 roles to fill from Assistant Directors, Non-Speaking Roles, individual and group Singing/Talking roles. There is no guarantee that everyone who auditions will be cast in the play. Students wishing to audition must arrive by the scheduled starting time and stay for the entire two-hour session. The first rehearsal begins approximately 15-minutes after the audition.
 
This is a group audition–no advance preparation is necessary, but a smile never hurts. Students should just be ready to come and have a good time! 


Although not all cast members will be needed at every session, those auditioning must have a clear schedule for the entire week and if selected, be able to attend all rehearsals required for their role and be available for all scheduled performances. A detailed rehearsal schedule will be distributed at the conclusion of the audition. Cast members scheduled for the full 4 hours and 15 minutes will be asked to bring a sack lunch, dinner or snack to be eaten during the 15-minute break between sessions.
